Module 6: Preventing Your Stress

The wisest way to manage stress is to prevent it from happening in the first place. Some people don’t believe that is possible, but as you will learn, preventing stress is not only possible but not that difficult. In this lesson, you uncover the root of your stress. You also learn the triggers that activate your emotions.

Module 7: Thoughts Precede Emotions

Stress is an emotional response. We all experience many emotions at different times, but emotions do not just happen. The emotions that you feel are preceded by a specific set of dominant thoughts. In this lesson, you learn why the things you resist, seem to persist, and how to eliminate those “threat thoughts” that turn on the stress-response in four simple steps.

Module 8: Get Rid of Threat Thoughts

In most cases, we can’t control or even influence the life events that happen around us. However, we react in conditioned ways to many of these life events. Fortunately, our conditioning can be changed. In this lesson, you learn about the gap between a stimulus and your response. You also learn how to improve your conditioned responses.
